What is the PTO?

We are a Parent/Teacher Organization that helps fund school related activities and programs. There is no commitment when a parent or teacher joins the PTO, but we hope that they understand they are able to vote at each meeting. Just last year, the PTO was able to raise money and vote on the many ways that we would allocate that money to the school.

Here are just a few ways that your PTO helped Powell last year:

-Funded all field trips for all grade levels
-Classroom technology upgrades
-Online math and language arts programs
-3rd and 4th grade inline skating
-Provided all grade levels and specials with a large sum of money to help enhance classroom learning
-Funded all N.E.A.T. (Never, Ever Absent or Tardy) parties and rewards
-Maintained playground equipment and purchase new equipment
-Ask us about the MANY other way!

Where and when do you meet?

The PTO meets 3 times a year. Please let the front desk know that you are coming for a PTO meeting in case the meeting has been moved to a different room in the building. We would love to have you join us at ANY meeting you can make...because your vote counts!
